Yup, those are tad beyond a handful...or mout_ oh well....
It was planted in 1914, too close to that awesome Olmstead home (and damaging it) in The Highlands-private, exclusive, gated. When Bill Gates wanted in there was nothing available........who knows what the average value of the 100 odd homes is.....5 mil at least I'm sure.
That tree was only appx 3% as massive as the General Sherman, also a giant sequoia, but the largest living thing on earth. And it was one of the nicest trees we've ever had to remove, and very saddening. The homeowners mulled cutting it for much of the 13 years they've been there.
It took us two days plus portions of two more to remove.
