My understanding is that there were tax credits AND grants that were to be used by YE. If the tax credit were extended, great. Does LLEG have to start the grant process over? Here is only one example of a post from last year:

There will always be government money for these types of projects. If Laidlaw can begin construction prior to the end of the year, there is a 3 Million dollar tax credit that will go to the city of Berlin. I believe the total government grants and tax credits available is in the order of $44 Million (This may be off, but it is what I remember reading).
