I have been saying all along the best friend for eventual legalization of Marijuana is a economy in a recession. The Government is starving for money and the tax revenues from the sales of Marijuana are tremendous. Most importantly the revenues derived from the taxation is taken from the drug cartels in Mexico. A big win-win IMO. The only government agency in total opposition to legalization is the money guzzling law enforcement agencies who are conducting a outmoded war at the cost of taxpayers. The Drug Cartels of Mexico have plenty of money and American Clientele to continue the drug war perpetually. The only real win to America is to treat the distribution and sales of Marijuana in the same manner as alcohol.
