For the Newbies and those interested in FACTS:

Interesting debate going on. With one side quoting facts, figures and details of verifiable information and the other side (Spencer & Chloe) stating objections, speculation and conjecture. Amazing how a hydro project without the land "NECESSARY" is bringing in so many new jobs to Berlin in a matter of months, and evidently we now consider prison guards "professionals", wait, my bad, I guess he means the prisoners, I see now.

I notice that once again Spencer is bringing wood availability issue to the discussion despite the fact this was already litigated in the NHSEC hearing,(his side lost), and is beyond the perview of the NHPUC. They don't want to hear it and have said so already. And he wonders why people accuse him of lying, telling half truths and spreading misinformation. Its a wonder!

In so far as Laidlaw needing a PPA, what do you think is awaiting APPROVAL Spencer, a draft? This is a signed and executed 20 year PPA, something which your guys at CPD could never seem to get, even going into multiple states and dozens of power companies, wonder why???

The ONLY thing Laidlaw needs is the approval of the PUC to move forward with construction. PERIOD.

In so far as the Coos Loop handling the power output of all these new projects, like you love to point out, where are they on the Que? How many ahead of LLEG, such as CPD that will never be built and so on. And of course, once again, already litigated in the NHSEC hearings and AGAIN, his side LOST the argument to the plain and simple TRUTH being exposed.

And I will give you this one Spencer, if a 100mw hydro plant goes online, it will be years after Laidlaw is up and running and it will be their problem as far as an upgrade to handle the power increase on the Coos Loop. Strange how he wants to overlook the loop problem EXCEPT when it comes to Laidlaw. No Problem for the Hydro plant, other "proposed" projects, only Laidlaw with 70mw, and listen Spencer, that is less than the 100mw of the Hydro, thought I should say since we all know how you are with MATH, but only Laidlaw will face the hurdle with the loop. Again, Litigated and YOU LOST, AGAIN. Not a problem for Laidlaw to face. PERIOD.

Good luck Spencer dealing with that $75m payroll heading for Berlin, I'm sure it will be there Monday, right? Okay buddy, you da man!

I love the fact you could accept Laidlaw if;

If Laidlaw were a smaller plant that didn't tax the coos loop and bring into concern the maxing out of available wood supply I'd like to see it situated on a site outside of city center like Clean Power's proposed site, but I could more accept it where it is if these negatives didn't exist.

Really. that isn't what your position was 6 months ago? In fact, what concern is it of yours? If either of these were true then Laidlaw would be out of business within months of opening the plant wouldn't they? So you should be happy and cheering them on since you want them to fail. But there again that nasty little bugger known as the "TRUTH" has raised it itself up to show your once again spinning half-truths, speculation, outright lies and misinformation. I sure hope that these guys with all this money coming to town know what kind of guy you are since if they did, I doubt you'd get a contract with anyone except to sell manure to the local organic farmers. Maybe woodburner and a few of the other locals on here can start spreading the word as to EXACTLY what kind of guy you are, I'm sure it will do wonders for your failing business.

Chloe, you seem fairly smart except for the fact that you've hitched your wagon to Spencer and helped diseminate his misinformation. Hopefully you will learn how to read ALL the documents from the NHSEC case file and other dd proudly referred to here by all the LONGS and you will wake up to exactly how badly Spencer has misrepresented and twisted EVERYTHING he claims to be fact. If you don't learn how to do proper dd, you best get out of the market or you're gonna lose your shirt, pants and drawers following these kinds of blind idealogues.

Anyway, I hope this helps those looking for FACTS and not misinformation and half-truths. Be wary of those who claim to have command of the facts when they are unable to point to a decision in their favor on ANYTHING. Not an opinion by an opposition parties paid "expert", but an actual decision like the one just a few months ago at the NHSEC wherein Laidlaw kicked in the teeth and triumphed big time over all the misinformation and bogus opinions and currently has backing from EVERYONE of importance from the air quality people to the tree huggers, the politicos to the towns-people, even Spencers wet dream company CPD, has now accepted Laidlaw as not only viable and a success waiting to happen, but as a well planned and executed business plan put forth by a quality management team. Now how is it Spencer is still opposed??

One last fat, what was the vote again at the NHSEC Spencer? Oh wait, here it is 9-0 in favor of Laidlaw. Wow, you were really convincing on your side to not even persuade the weakest mind on the board. Must have been all of your "facts" that convinced them to thump you down like a irritating gadfly on a drop of sweat.

I think someone needs to remove their head from you know who's, you know what and wake up.

LOOKING FORWARD TO ANOTHER GREAT DAY, WEEK, MONTH AND YEAR WITH LLEG !!!

AS ALWAYS,

GO LONG ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

KEEP THE FAITH ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

ENHANCE YOUR CALM ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

STAY THE COURSE ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

GO LLEG ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
