Ah I see now

The difference between 14,000 shareholders and a few hundred is because the number of shareholders EXPLODED in the past 12 months (while the share price went down) and that the shares are held in Street Name preventing an accurate count of shareholders (and presumably preventing proxies from being delivered to several thousand shareholders)!
