The point is that they get a letter, and in a day or so they come out with a PR. That isn't enough time to sit down and digest the letter with your team and come up with a timeline for responding. It might take a few weeks to sort through all the questions, determine which data you have, which you have to generate, what else people are working on, how long it will take to get that data etc.

I expect more clarity on a timeline during the CC in a couple of weeks. If they refuse to give any more than "the near future" at that time, then you can start reading into it.
