Mr. Atkinson Is the Exploration Manager for Noront's Ontario projects mainly focusing on the Ring of Fire. He is a seasoned manager with extensive experience designing and supervising large exploration programs including projects in several foreign countries and in all Canadian provinces. He has been responsible for managing exploration camps with over 100 staff including regional offices for mining companies and engineering consulting companies. Mr. Atkinson has spent over 30 years in mineral exploration, mining and consulting attaining positions of Vice President of Exploration and Exploration Manager with junior and major mining companies. His experience includes working with multiple projects for large clients, including the development and raising of financing requirements in Toronto and Vancouver for companies with interests in exploration projects mainly for Platinum Group Metals in North and South America and Europe.

Prior to joining Noront Mr. Atkinson was senior Project Manager for a large Canadian consulting engineering firm. Mr. Atkinson has a B.Sc. from Brock University and a M. Sc. from the University of Toronto and is a Professional Geoscientist and Qualified Person in Ontario."
