At this point, I would have to say yes. I'm sure there is a big push on to raise as much money as possible. That 700 Mhz band is the prize that I believe everyone is looking for.
No, I have not seen anything related to MediaG3 in conjunction with that bandwidth so far. But, I do remember a 'dual mode' associated with the new phones.
But, it may be that a 'pool' of available bandwidth will be made available as a pooled general use, as well. I'm going to do some deeper research into the FCC plans, over the weekend. But I get the feeling that it is the optimal bandwidth for transfer rates and thought it significant to post.
