Could it be maybe they just wanted to promote Eduardo Othon because of what he is bringing to the company?

Could it also be that William Cavalier had out lived his usefullness to the board. He easily could have been asked to step aside. Since he has been on the board I don't believe we have heard his name.
Othon's name has been mentioned numerous times in the last year with his Middle East connections.
