i have been reading your egypt dispatches, you are obviously right up front on the issue, and i am still sort of puzzled. If the thing in egypt is because Hosni is old and his regime somewhat oppressive, what is the link to the uprisings that are happening in the other countries? It seems odd that there would be spontaneous actions in several countries at once without some catalyst or movement. For some reason, i can't seem to find the thread. Is it a religious-based thing or a secular human rights thing?
