I agree. But it's also completely out of my hands. They're the only game in town.

As Dave alluded to earlier, they're a company who once was the only game in the country and seem to be trying to head back that direction, likely since VOIP provided by cable companies and the proliferation of cell phones means they wouldn't be a monopoly this time around.
