No I haven't been involved in a stock with a due date like MXXH, and I'm not very familiar with behavior of pennies that have this type of due date.

My perspective is based on observation of stocks that cross the 100% threshold, and I think that will override any sense of anticipation for the rest of the week. Next week I do expect the PPS to recover and probably do at least 100% gain above the retracement.

I also think your scenario is viable as well and would lean towards it more if the 100% threshold had not been crossed.

Time will tell, and it will be interesting which perspective is correct.
