The reason why I say this, is I am going Sturgeon fishing on Saturday. It is currently catch & release until the state has a meeting on 2/4/11 when they will decide when to open the season.

I am going fishing with a someone from work that just told me we may have a camera crew on board.

2 weeks ago, he and his brother caught about 30 catch & release Sturgeon, with the largest being 8 1/2 feet long.

This past Saturday, they caught around the same, but only 5 were within the limit of 38" to 54", a few that were too small and the majority that were oversized.

He also runs a Sturgeon Tournament up here and proceeds go to one of the local charities in the Portland area.

Needless to say, I'M FIRED UP!!!
