F6 the majority of medical expenses are for those in the later years of life and I am for Death Panels or some form of logical reasoning when it comes to keeping poor souls alive mostly for the purpose of racking up profits. The only way to do that is Gov.
along with a lot of other measures to cut costs. What ever it takes to cut the outrageous costs but it is insane for the young people in our nation to pay such a punitive portion of their income so that seniors can have every thing medical technology can get approved by the FDA, covered at little to no cost. Unsustainable situation, so the high deductible requires the individual to choose wisely, along with the docotr, what test - treatment - drug they delve into. With only the first $50,000 to cover the insurance plans would be affordable either personal or even more so in an employer sponsored plan and would have to be accesable to all with no pre-x. The key is the requirement to pay our bills one way or the other, by payments after the fact or with insurance. The upfront stuff is very subjective imho, but the large claim circumstances need to be cost contained in a way only the Gov. could do. The sooner we come to the realization that our current system needs to be canned the better but if Universal Health Care pays for every thing for everybody it will be even more unsustainable than the Medicare Mess = Fraud and Wate. hge
