Clean Power issued 'halt trade order' - Ledger Post | 21 Jan 11
http://www.leaderpost.com/news/Clean+Power+issued+halt+trade+order/4142299/story.html

The "halt trade order'' was issued Wednesday by the BCSC on Clean Power, which trades on the OvertheCounter Bulletin Board (OTC-BB) market under the symbol, CPOW. The order takes effect to the end of trading Monday.

"The executive director considers that circumstances exist or are about to occur that could result in other than orderly trading of Clean Power's securities,'' said the BCSC halt trade order.

"We had concerns about the trading in the stock and we're having a look at it,'' said Ken Gracey, a spokesman for the commission in Vancouver.

Now I'm thoroughly confused. I never saw any "cease" or "halt" in trading, and I watched it every day last week. (I found it fascinating. Perhaps I should get out more.)

Gracey added the Clean Power was ordered to cease trading earlier in the month due to failing to file a news release issued Jan. 13 announcing a sales agreement with KND Feeds Ltd. of Saskatchewan.

The cease trading order was revoked by the BCSC on Wednesday - the same day the commission issued the halt trading order - after Clean Power filed the news release.

So, there is a "halt trading order" in effect from Wednesday last through Monday coming?

Really?

No, I didn't imagine it. Tues the 18th, 43.5M shares traded; Wed the 19th, 14.9M shares traded; Thu the 20th, 19.4M shares traded; Fri the 21st, 4.3M shares traded.
