So, regardless of what we're going to read about the amount of money that the defendants have been instructed to disgorge, the SEC sadly lacks the level of enforcement capability to ever garner any dollars other than what it initially takes itself for its investigation / prosecution expenses.



I am pretty darn sure you are correct. We are talking about a $7-9M dollar haul by the government (court ordered and assume administered), but I have little doubt that the govt. will, in the end, with some reason suck up all the money. I am also pretty sure the costs to the courts and the SEC don't total the restitution ordered to and agreed to by the defendants, but they WILL find a way.
