I take it you have access to all this information? So what you're saying is that Laidlaw is essentially bad for the NH economy, and that PSNH and Laidlaw are intentionally trying to gouge the ratepayers in NH, am I correct? I really don't see how adding hundreds of jobs to the north county and the infusion of millions of dollars into the local economy is bad business? As for the electric rates for NH ratepayers? What happens to PSNH rates if they have to close the doors on some of their other plants? I'll tell you what will happen, they will have to go out into the open market and purchase power, which by the way will be considerably higher 10 years from now due to something called inflation! Did you ever stop to consider that ratepayers in the state could end up paying more for electricity if PSNH has to go outside the state to find power?
