excel -please don't label me as a basher and give me the boot on my first post but i don't think NVEI will ever see the completion of the surfing film. or at least i hope not.
while i think that the bruce brown movie is almost a lock to become a profitable venture and i did first invest into NVXE when they were only a 3D company, the tables have turned and it's important that the new and improved NVEI present themselves to the investment community as nothing but a telecom company.
i think there's probably two different scenario's that could happen to accomplish this. first would be to spin off either side of the company leaving one entity holding the 3D part of the company and the other with the new wheel division. but the more likey scenario, at least in my mind, is that we will soon see a new CEO appointed which would allow ray to either move up to chairman of the board or leave completey taking the 3D end of the company and the surfing movie with him via a private company.
to gain the credibility in the investment community they are so dearly trying to establish we need someone at the helm that has the experience and credibility in the investment community to prove to the world that we are here to stay. and as much as i like and respect ray for what he has done for us to this point i don't think he's the man to do that. not that i don't think ray could pull it off, but the appointment of a new CEO that is well known to wall street and has already managed a telecom company would give us almost instant credibility. combine that with a new pr firm that is well respected and the re-filing of the NAS application and all of the sudden we're in a whole different ballgame.
actions like this are what i THINK john is alluding to when he keeps telling us the company is " being re-shaped behind the scenes as we speak. "
so like i said excel please don't ban me for my views or i promise i'll come back as " killer whale " and start munching on one of your favorite cold weather birds............. LOL
