On my way home from NY to Houston this week (boy, I do not miss that cold weather), I picked up a USA Today from the hotel, Wednesday's edtion. The paper in the Life section had a great article on the wine market in China and how it is growing by leaps and bounds. The data and analysis mainly focused on Hong Kong, but it was encouraging to know that since GDHI's focus includes wine, that bodes well. The article also pointed out that the Chinese prefer red wine over white (red brings happiness and good luck....Chinese culture I guess) and that the biggest seller right now are European wines, mainly Italian....US wines do not bode so well with the Chinese according to the writers research.
Just some interesting info I thought would be some good medicine for this board that has become sick with hiddeen agendas and rhetoric over pps and what Frank said or didn't say.
