Overnight (UPS/whatever) a letter to Tom - looks better since letter is not folded.
List you credentials, give him some backround on yourself, let him know how long you have owned shares, how many you own and some on your concerns. Let him know that in a few days you will call him and would appreciate a few minutes for a discussion with him.
Let him know what your phone number is so he will recognize it when the call comes in.
If you do as I recommend, I would give it 95% he'll talk with you.
When you talk with him, don't drill him. CEO's don't like to be put on the spot. Just let him talk and you'll find out what you want to know.
Last thing, do letter on computer- don't hand write it.
