Be careful with ACH deposits at Ameritrade. They take time to set up and verify. Also, I believe you can NOT use such deposits for nonmarginable securities for 5 days. The funds can be used to purchase marginable securities immediately but not most otcs. I know you're just using it to get the $15 fee covered. Just be sure to check out all options explicitly.
