UVFT's filter has a mechanical stage (that you have to pay UVFT more to replace periodically - making this filter a less attractive consumer investment), which like any media filter costing a fraction of theirs, will reduce odors. Lennon's quote is like saying not only will your car get you from point A to point B, but you won't get wet from the rain while travelling.

nothing is a big "selling point" when you keep GIVING product away instead of actually SELLING it... LOL so UVFT get's shareholders for combating H1N1'2009, then the FDA tells them that claim is bogus, so they downgrade to saying they kill bacteria, but nobody really cares enough about that to actually BUY their filters, so now they are proud of their product's common odor elimination abilities? give me a break...
