There is no indication that Walmart news WILL be coming out any time soon. The PR (already released on Jan 7) says that Accubrite has "entered into discussions" with the retailer (supposedly Walmart). Discussions... that means they could have picked up the phone, called Walmart, and said "Hey Walmart. Can you distribute our product?", and then the guy at Walmart could have responded "uhhh... let me ask my boss if he can get you to the right department", and there you have it: a discussion... The answer might be end up being an immediate no. Even if the answer is yes/maybe, it could be months before a potential deal is even on the table to be discussed. Until then, there would be little to PR about except fluff (which would bring the PPS down).

In addition, we're not even 100% sure that it's Walmart. They named their PDF file Walmart, but didnt directly state that it was Walmart, so they cant be held accountable. The numbers about the stores are close but not exact. The PR says "8,500 stores in 15 countries with 55 different names" but Walmart's site says "8,600 retail units under 59 different banners in 15 countries". http://investors.walmartstores.com/phoenix.zhtml?c=112761&p=irol-irhome This may not be much of a difference but slight differences do seem to be the preferred method of stock fraud these days.

The entire PR is of course protected by a safe harbor disclaimer with "forward looking statements" as well.
