Hi, HJS. I agree with the tenor of the release, especially as it deals with F-3's technology and how it'll help recording artists handle what's called "fragmentation" within that industry. It's the same way in the publishing industry, believe me. I'm a freelance writer and I've found it much easier these days to self-promote and self-publish using newly developed technology platforms than to use the old standards and practices that were once the norm.

F-3 has a serious edge in helping up-and-coming artists, or those established artists trying to gain more control over their content and intellectual property, than they've had under the old system. Anybody remember TLC (the singing group) having to declare bankruptcy and then sue whatshisname...Babyface?, in order to get out from under their virtual slave-labor contract? Same with En Vogue and numerous other artists and groups. The sort of high-speed, low-drag product F-3's put forth can really help a recording artist gain a higher level of control that just wasn't available previously.
