According to Tullow Oil's event calendar:

http://www.tullowoil.com/index.asp?pageid=119

The next news event to be released is on Jan 27, 2011, and it is a "Trading statement and operational update".

To get an idea of what such an event is like, an older one was released back July 6, 2010, and it looks like this:

http://online.hemscottir.com/ir/tlw/ir.jsp?page=news-item&item=432647088160899

The example from July 6, 2010 does go into not only exploration activities but it has statements that are forward looking, for example: "Government approval for purchase of Heritage's Ugandan assets expected imminently"

So can we surmise from that example, that even if something is not complete and is "imminent" it would be announced in the Jan 27, 2011 "Trading statement and operational update"?

I am hopeful that we know on Jan 27, 2010 the situation with Tullow/ERHC/EEZ.

Otherwise the next event on the event calendar does not occur until March 09, 2011, which is the 2010 full year results and conference calls.

If they don't say anything in the Jan 27, 2010 trading update about ERHC, then someone should plan to get on the conference call to ask about it on March 09, 2011.
