The first line in the Global Disclaimer at the end of that report says : "Suisse Finance (America) Inc. is not a registered financial advisor, investment adviser or broker-dealer."...and at the end..."Suisse Finance (America) Research Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Suisse Finance Holding SA,...which is privately owned"
Why do you want to find a link between "Suisse Finance (America) Research" and "Credit Suisse" ?
There is not any.
Just because they have one similar word in their name doesn't mean anything.
They have nothing to do with that giant CSFB (as you probably know it ain't "Credit Suisse" anymore, but "Credit Suisse First Boston")
There are thousands of examples available where companies have one same word in their name...
° "Bank Boston" has nothing to do with "Credit Suisse First Boston"
° "JP Morgan" has nothing to do with "Morgan Guarantee Trust Cie", although they have the same roots and are in the same branch
