Jennifer,
I just called IR and he explained that they only sent that letter to people who had contacted them in the last 2 weeks, I believe it was. He mentioned he had had a couple of people inquiring as to why they did not receive it and the mentioned that if the contact them, he will send it to them, just as he did to you. Nothing to do with being male or female.
