The one thing I think that is vastly different is that when these witnesses show up in a federal court and are sworn in, do they really want to start telling lies to a federal judge to protect DD or because they may be afraid of him for some reason? They never had to actually show up in court to testify yet. Right? That strategy never turns out well. If they tell the truth about all of those events, it should be over.
