I doubt Merck is running on Bergertime.
Ever since Harvey made the orginal deal with Merck I have been thinking it was great because it increased the odds it wouldn't get screwed up and money for additional trials would not be a concern.

Merck will submit when they are good and ready.
Perhaps the "delay" is to get additional data to buttress their submission.
