I don't believe a buyout would occur until the technolgy is proven. As of yet Ecosphere has 2 unknowns: 1) New machines, 2) Not operational in all shale plays (chemistry matters).
Ecosphere needs a series of consecutive profitable quarters as well as a series of consecutive quarters with a minimum level of sales before they can move from the bulletin board ranks. That is probably at least two years away.
I see that in the fourth quarter, 2010 three institutional investment firms now own .03 percent of outstanding shares. Not a big presence, but a very positive development. One final thought, once the $5 a share level is reached that is a very positive development. Most large mutual funds use the $5 per share price as a minimum threshold before they will invest in a company.
