When you start seeds indoors what are you using for lights?

No idea if true or not but I read someone stating don't waste your money on those spectrum grow lights as regular fluorescents will work find for starts.

After thinking about this it makes sense to me am I missing anything?

If you were growing to harvest it be in your best interest to buy grow spectrum lights then makes more sense to me.

Thoughts?

Btw..........
Some day I would like to grow to harvest a few plants but with so many expenses coming up this year to expend my garden every last dollar has to be counted.
