I agree with you, it is great risk to buy this shares, this share really isn't new GM.
But in MTLQQ is a lot of plants, estates and equipment which should be perfect chance for new carmakers from china. They have everything prepared - just buy and make cars very cheaply in USA. This moment should come... or should not.
Actual worth of company is 53,11 M$ - it is funny price for each carmaker company
