I have never shared this before, but here's what Ken told me about Cabot back in the good old days when he was still talking to shareholders. This email is worth reading as it explains why Cabot was for sale in the first place and what the potential is for a fairly quick "win" for us, given that part of the work is already done. It's sad that Mr King will not be around to reap the rewards from this project, but it's great that his two partners are now in a position to benefit through the deal they struck with KAT. Hopefully this will mean a win/win for all concerned...

There has only been 14 drill holes on the optioned properties. 7 of which are being logged for assay because the owner of British Canadian (Nelson King) up and died but was very careless in the way he handled this project. The drill result from the first 7 are quite interesting and we expect the other 7 will be as well. However, it is the most recent gold discoveries along with base metals that drew us to the property because just 25 km away the old Rambler” mine is coming back into production with new gold discoveries as well as Copper so from a strategic point of view this puts us in a more favorable position to move the property forward.

Incidentally this was the last email I ever received from Ken. After that... silence! But Jack still responds when I email him, which TBH is very rarely now - what is there to ask (that he is likely to reply to)? :o)
