I'm in the land of ancient mysteries, the cradle of civilization, Mesopotamia. As I tossed rocks into the Tigris river today, I thought about the movie A River Runs Through It and thought it should have been filmed here, in the land of the Garden of Eden. Haha.
I'm kind of joking...but just kind of. I am in Iraq, and I really was tossing rocks into the Tigris river today. It's nice and muddy and not very pretty like I always imagined it in my head growing up. Same with the Euphrates.
Anyway, that's where I'm at. Almost done though, almost done.
So many things to look forward to in the coming months. Going home...and SHAR!!!
