The lead time will eventually be 8 weeks, but they have a few components that have a 14 week lead time. The actual time to build a unit once all the parts are in-house is ~ 12 hours and then about another 8 to test and pack. So, until we have a “flow” of orders/material, the stated lead time is 16 weeks, and the build/test/pack time will be reduced significantly once the process is “learned” and OSIO builds several units in parallel to further reduce labor costs………….much like an automotive assembly line.
Once MMTC completes their internal testing of the first unit(s), they will launch a sales campaign to get the “pipeline” started and release OSIO to produce several units.
OSIO will not disclose any information to anyone outside of MIT. This is a mutual agreement.
