I always thought GIVN capsules showed great promise, but seemed to fall off the news radar.

You purge your bowels in an unpleasant process before a regular or virtual colonoscopy. If the virtual colonoscopy detects anything suspicious, e.g., polyps, you have to purge again if it needs to be removed.

This puts off those who know they're at risk and those who think they aren't. The preparation is worse than the procedure, as they use plenty of sedation for the latter, be it a metal tube and camera or pumping air to inflate your intestines.

Colon cancer is literally a disease that can be nipped in the bud before it can progress, and an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
