Hello davidjk, and welcome to the board. As Cork mentioned, a bit quiet around here, but that will hopefully change in good time.
Patience will be the key with TVIPF. They're a rare company doing many things right. The share count certainly is a bit of a hindrance, but it’s the current mine life that’s truly holding this back for now. We might get a slight bump when we get updates on Balabag (their future gold project that’s expected to have a bootstrap mine operational before EOY) or an update on drilling at Tamarok. But till they extend the current mine life, which currently sits at about 2.25 years at Canatuan, we’re not going to climb too far just yet. I can assure you the company is working day and night to accomplish this, and sometime in the next Q or two we should have a solid update on this topic. Once they get this cloud out from their head, then we’re out the gates as the large funds have already expressed their interest, but need mine life to be addressed first.
If you want to see how much potential there is, just check out their latest presentation and look into Xstrata Tampakan project (not TVIPF’s) that’s annotated on their slides. This project is 350 kms away from their Tamarok land, and was a $5 billion project just last summer. Tamarok is anticipated to possibly be just as large too, and that IS TVIPF.
Don’t expect fireworks in the very near term, show patience and try to accumulate your shares on those dip days (around .10-.11). Hold these tight, and you will be rewarded in good time.
I apologize if I’m making no sense, have had one too many drinks tonight! LOL Feel free to shoot away if you have any questions as you do your DD, and I’m certain one of us here can assist. Good luck bud, and welcome!
