Ok, I haven't posted anything in a while so I'll say something. I like the goals that they've set for the company. I think they're realistic, and doable. I sure do hope that Ben learned a lot from mistakes that were made in 2010 and that we don't see any repeat performances in 2011.

One thing that particularly bothered me about 2010 was the basic flop of the release or Realtime. That should have been better, and could have been better. Even with all the delays and set backs the launch could have been better than it was in my opinion. The program worked, and it worked pretty well. There were a couple of very key elements as to how a level 2 screen should be displayed that were never fixed and/or working and that was a big mistake however.

The thing that surprised me most about the re-release of Realtime was that they did not change the "look" of the screen one iota. I thought for sure they would. In my opinion that was a monumental mistake. When Dru first released Realtime WAY before it should have been released it had the very same look that we still see today. It would not have taken very much talent, or programming skill to "dress up" the look of the screen and I think it should have been done. For those of us that were around for the very first release of Realtime, when Ben's launch came out we were looking at the exact same screen and I think that is a big reason why so many people stayed away from it and did not subscribe. I think people wondered just exactly how much work went in to fixing all the problems that existed with Dru's launch.

Giving it a new look, or different looking "eye candy" would have really given people the perception that they did in fact rework the program and debug it entirely from all the problems that existed when Dru released it.

In my opinion one of the best things that Ben could do when they get around to launching the entire platform would be to change up the look of the screens a little bit. Many level 2 programs currently available on the market offer the user a few different skins that they can select to give the layout a different look. The data is the same, but the colors are different. Not all people see colors the same way. So what may look just fine to one person, might look like a very blahzay screen to someone else. You should offer a couple choices as far as the look goes. That would be a MAJOR improvement if they could somehow work that in to the release this time around.

Anyway....that's just my 2 cents.

"Sort of" is harmless "Sort of". Is a filler. But sometimes, "sort of" means everything. Like after "I love you" or "You're going to live" or "It's a boy".
