You guys should get something in writing from the company that says those preferred shares are really restricted. I thought since Those are old preferred shares that were transferred to new company. They are already met the one year old holding period while the old guys had them and don't get a new restriction when they transfer them. So seems asking for confirmation from the company whether those preferred shares convert to free trading or restricted shares seems smartest next move for people to do. JMHO!
