The two aren't mutually exclusive... should be room on the board for both.
Next question about making money with algae:
There are lots of companies that want to buy carbon credits to offset their own carbon footprint. Why not grow algae (which sequesters carbon in the process of growing), dry it in the sun, then just dump the dried biomass in a deep hole somewhere? You make money just by selling carbon credits for the carbon you have sequestered and stored in the algae. It's simple (even BEHL demonstrated they could grow it), easy to measure the carbon sequestered, and legit (unlike a lot of the crazy carbon credit schemes out there).
Give us this day our daily bread... and lead us not into temptation (ie don't be a greedy fool)...
