I returned from a week's vacation yesterday so I'm a bit behind in posting. Things are looking much better for the Big ten at this point. The biggest game of the year is days away for you guys - the way OSU has been playing, you have a chance to ruin their season. They say the really good teams will always find a way to win & OSU has proved that a few times this year. However, the big test will be Sat.

I have mixed feelings on the game. Naturally, I want you to win because I respect you & I know what a big game it is for your team. However, the best scenario for the conference is an undefeated OSU. That way, they have 2 teams in the BCS and 2 other teams (UM & PSU) also playing in major bowls New Years Day. That would be a major coup for the Big Ten. Of course, a win by you would also make PSU the odd man out so you can see my quandary. ;)

At any rate, what happens will happen & what you or I hope for has no bearing on the game so i just hope the best team wins & leave it at that. Besides, PSU must get by Mich. State 1st - they should but stranger things have happened this year.

BTW, how 'bout that Larry Johnson? It's nice to hear his name finally mentioned a lot re: the Heisman. 327 yards vs. Indiana - wow!
