In the land of pinks, one will be hard pressed to find a stock with history long enough for a 10-year chart, showing a high of nearly $12.00, and not due to a reverse split, but because market valued the company at that price on the basis of its technology. And that's one of the reasons why I included this chart. It was back in the days when ACT Teleconferencing was trading on NASDAQ, acquiring companies like Proximity for $500,000 in cash plush shares valued at $10 a piece, as you will see later in this document. Owing to various factors, including the bursting of tech bubble and lack of vision on the management's part, ACT Teleconferencing was first de-listed from NASDAQ in November 2005, and later filed for termination of registration in August of 2007. Three years, a new management team and a better business environment later, ACT Teleconferencing is doing really well. With close to 350 employees, offices in 9 countries and a stronger and re-invigorated team, ACT Teleconferencing is going places.
