The frustration when we saw $17 in pre-market and back to $15 at close on the divi announcement day is so clear in my mind.
I am not saying that there is anything impossible. We can say that something is possible even if there is 10% chance or just .01% likelihood that things will happen.
By saying "impossible to close above $18 by Friday", I mean this. When you are saying "possible", if you mean that there is just a tiny small chance to happen, I agree because nothing is impossible in stock market, but how sure are you about it? Are you sure enough to instantly increase your position at $16's now?
If I am 50% or 60% sure that it will be above $18 by Friday, I should definitely double my position at $16's, but I am still hesitant to do so. Instead, I am increasing my holding slowly and add when it dips to my entry target.
By now, I would say there is something like a 1% chance that CCME will close above $18 by Friday! So I will not buy a single share @$16 to speculate this 1% chance. That's what I mean to say "unrealistic", because 1% is too small to be meaningful.
