If you're referring to the Trades screen I do not agree at all. I've come to realize very quickly that is about the most unreliable data we have to look at.

Every transaction done at the bid goes down as a sell.
Every transaction done at the ask goes down as a buy.


I've put in a buy order, saw it filled at the bid & it shows as a sell. If someone sells at the bid it will show up on that screen as a buy. Then the big wild card: People selling short (even the Market Makers). I've seen up to 50-60 transaction IN A ROW where it looks like someone is buying at ask but the price doesn't go up. The MM won't raise it even when they are the cheapest by 2 or 3 clicks. It was because it wasn't buying, it was short selling. I check Finra short sale data later and it is confirmed. They don't raise the price for a reason, they want to clear out all the buyers then walk it down.

I hope we get a nice PR here, looks like that's what it will take.
