I opened two accounts with ETrade today, i.e. securities and global. I set up a transfer of some equities to meet the funding requirements plus my GRAFF dividend shares from Scottrade to ETrade. Got an alert message on the account to call them about the transfer of GRAFF shares. When I called they said that it would be difficult to transfer them now and that I really should wait until the GRAFF IPO to transfer over the shares because to do it earlier, I would have to "jump through hoops" to get them into the new account. Has anyone with a ETrade Global account had problems transfering the GRAFF dividend shares into their account? If not, could you review your steps?
