Thanks for the welcome aboard. Sorry, but I will not be staying long for reasons previously stated. I have not included the invitation/prospectus to the SafeBaby project as it is limited to 16 persons who can put up $10K each (13 positions are still available). I have “cut-n-pasted” the semi-confidential overview of the project for those who have not seen it.
As always, seek out as much information as you can find before investing in anything; then verify. I’m seeking verification with this group. The CEOs of both companies are very tight lipped about what they are doing together and apart and that makes since. Does anyone know the answers to the questions in my first post?
Enjoy reading up on API’s (Rogersville, AL) project.

Assembled Products, Inc. has been involved with child transport safety for a number of years through its’ affiliation with ATWEC (ATWT on the OTC Board) and its’ Kiddie Systems. KiddieVoice and KiddieAlert were both designed by Assembled Products, Inc.’s engineers.

In areas where KiddieVoice has been legislated, a child being left on buses has been eliminated. No child has been left on a bus nor has one been backed over where Kiddie is employed. The new area to be tackled is that of the private automobile. With all the awareness local media gives to how hot and how fast a car will get in the summer, some people leave their children in those cars while they go do something. To reduce the deaths of children by being baked alive in a car, Assembled Products, Inc. has conceived of Safe Baby. Safe Pet will come later.

Safe Baby is made up of two parts, the first being the car seat module. This consists of a pressure sensitive sensor to indicate a child is present, a temperature monitor, and a short-range transmitter. For power, we will employ a vibration-harvesting device to keep a battery charged. The battery system has a life expectancy of seven years, well beyond the car seat age.

The second module is attached under the car’s dash panel. This section consists of a receiver, voice alert, GPS module, siren and cell phone, all powered by the car’s battery.

All parts of this system will be off-the-shelf, development costs will be very low for such a complex device. Total cost is estimated to be $140K to $160K over about eight-month period. ATWEC is not in a position to fund this project at this time but is eager to license the device on a royalty bases and work to get it legislated into a national law for a new car seat.

Should you be interested in investing in this Safe Baby project, please contact myself (Michael Stevens) at 256-247-7338 or Mr. Alex Wiley, CEO of ATWEC at 901-690-2471 for additional information.
