It seems like some of the friction and arguing on this board (not all) comes from different styles of trading. Active, it seems as though you think purely as a trader, which is fine. Others think as investors, which is also fine. Hardcore traders and investors never seem to agree with one anothers decisions, but hey that is what makes the market go around.

An example of this is your statement:

"Why would anyone post about LOWES openings in various countires and locations? Or expansion in New retailers we are not even in yet. WE ARE NOT EVEN OUT OF THE TEST PHASE! That's like talking a baby into going on a Walkathon...when he can only crawl...I just don't understand it, never will, don't want to, and think the posters who think that sort of DD is great, are just as dim-witted as the poster who posts it...JMHO!"

The so called dimwitted idea you are referring to is called investing. Traders don't always understand it, they make their money a different way. Just as investors, don't always understand why traders do what they do. I don't know why you have to take shots at people for having their opinions. To throw stones at something you don't understand is pretty amateurish. I mean come on using premature and potential in the same sentence is an oxymoron, but reinforces your thought process. DD based on potential effects from current causes is what investing is all about. Cause and effect relationship takes time to develop, maybe even longer then 5 years. An investor by the name of Warren Buffett has had some success thinking in that dimwitted way. It's all about thinking a few steps ahead instead of what is merely happening CURRENTLY, as you often bring up.

Incidentally talking a baby into doing anything is pretty difficult, but if you are thinking like an investor (i.e. steps ahead), perhaps talking a crawling baby into learning the walk-a-thon course ahead of time before all the rest of the walkers catch on can be advantageous. Maybe even put them ahead of the game when playing really counts.

...Just sayin...
