As I am sure you have seen many times, most scams throw something out(lawsuit, PR, etc.) as the door is slamming shut to lend an air of possibility about the company to squeeze the last few dollars from believers. Just watch the discussion on this board.

As for Scott Marshall being brought in - we won't know until this is completely blown open but for now I agree with nodummy's theory that his name appeared because it showed up here in discussion.
