Congratulations to our new IWS board for obtaining an extension permit from the North Carolina Department of Natural Resources for the Pinehurst Wastewater Treatment Plant and Reclaimed Water Utilization System. This signals forward movement for IWS in 2011. The Pinehurst and new 2011 projects create much enthusiasm for RCC Holdings Corp and their sole subsidiaries
It is my hope that Pinehurst citizens will join the Village Council in encouraging the Moore County Commissioners, owners of the water and sewer system serving Pinehurst, to proceed with the needed improvements in the core village and elsewhere.
The Moore County Water Pollution Control Plant is a biological "activated sludge" treatment facility with two stages of aeration and three stages of sedimentation.
