# 26 Accept Christ as a New Resourse ___ Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (II Cor. 5:17). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- The realization that Christ died for our sins and the acceptance of Him as our Savior can give us a tremendous resource for dealing with problems (including depression). When we accept Christ and turn from sin, we become new in our spirit. The Holy Spirit of God comes to indwell in us. He desires to transform our mind, emotions, and will over a period of time. It may not emmediately relieve depression, but it gives us a highly effective new resource for dealing with the depression.
